If you’re dreaming of a stylish London wedding filled with personal touches, look your inspiration is here! From an intimate ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall to a vibrant reception at Never For Ever, Honor and Ryan’s celebration was the perfect mix of timeless romance and modern city energy.
The Ceremony – A London Icon
For Honor and Ryan, having a small, intimate ceremony was key. With just 30 of their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows at the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall (@adaytorememberlondon) — one of London’s most iconic wedding venues.
“The high after our ceremony was surreal,” Honor remembers. “We kept looking at each other saying ‘we’re married!”. Afterwards, guests boarded a classic red Routemaster bus — complete with music and celebrations — while the newlyweds stayed behind for photos before making their way to the reception in style.

The Bride – ByWatters Crumpet Dress
Honor wore the Crumpet mini dress by ByWatters, chosen from Your Story Bridal. With its clean lines, chic square neckline and playful bow detail, it was the perfect city wedding dress for a modern bride. “I had a strong idea of what I wanted,” Honor explained, “BUT I still asked Natalie if I could try on other styles before I tried on the dress I thought I would love. In the end I did choose the dress I imagined for myself. I still loved ruling out other options though, also so fun to play dress up! I would also say to keep it minimal who you bring with you to appointments. I took my Mum and Maid of Honour who truly know me and my style. I knew I could trust their opinions, too many voices would have thrown me off.”
The Reception – Never For Ever
Their celebration continued at Never For Ever (@neverforeverkt), a cool and creative London venue that set the stage for dinner, drinks and dancing. Guests were welcomed with cocktails downstairs before Honor and Ryan made their big entrance to Signed, Sealed, Delivered — one of Honor’s favourite moments of the day, “The energy in the room was amazing!”. Dinner was served upstairs across four long banquet tables, styled with colourful flowers by @lessoeursdefleurs and DIY touches crafted by Honor herself. “It was so important to us that everyone was relaxed, well fed and watered. So we were happy to spend a lot of our budget here.”
After heartfelt speeches, more evening guests arrived for the party. The first dance quickly turned into a singalong with everyone on the dancefloor — and the surprise saxophonist stole the show, keeping energy levels sky-high until late into the night.
Planning Tips From Honor
Stay true to your vision: “We had just 9 months to plan. Which in terms of wedding planning is not a lot of time. In the end this really worked for us and our day felt so us. I would really say to follow your gut, you'll know what decisions are right for you and your partner.”
DIY where you can: “ I loved making the invites, the stationary, signage and decorations. We focused on our vision and tried to not listen to outside opinions.”
Use Pinterest & apps: “Pinterest boards were my life and reference always. I also really valued bridal apps like Bridebook and Hitched. Not only are they great planning tools but good for getting real reviews of suppliers.”
Make time together: “Have some time alone as a couple. It's a must!! Otherwise the day runs away with you both.”
Honor and Ryan’s Marylebone Town Hall wedding is proof that an intimate London celebration can still be full of personality, style and unforgettable energy. And for us, it was such a joy to see Honor wear the ByWatters Crumpet dress, a gown that suited her perfectly and will inspire so many future city brides. Huge congratulations to the newlyweds!
